It's quite straightforward, although some design expertise and knowledge of an image-editing programme like Adobe Photoshop is definitely an advantage.
Navigate to www.twitter.com. Then click on the 'Sign Up' button as shown below:
Enter your own name and email address and pick a username that matches your business name as closely as possible. We're going to call ourselves Buzz Widgets. Now click on the 'Create My Account' button as shown below:
You will now be sent an email to the address you provided. You'll need to click the 'Confirm' button to complete the sign-up process as shown below.
You will now be directed to your brand new account with Twitter. The default design and layout is shown below:
Instead of the default settings, you can add in your own business' branding by clicking the 'Settings' button as shown below:
Click on the 'Settings' button as shown. You'll now be able to change the design to suit your business. You can choose from some of the default templates or create your own.
In this example, we're going to place a centred background image as shown below:
Now we can see our own branded background image, as shown below:
You can now use the settings button to add your mobile phone. That's it! Now all you have to do is start tweeting!
